Experience the black bear hunt of a lifetime in beautiful, northern Alberta, Canada near High Level. Bear hunt over bait with 200% success on a 2 bear limit. Accommodations are very comfortable in this isolated camp, complete with an on staff cook and experienced guides are always at hand. Archery hunters enjoy an excellent ratio of P&Y bears often reaching 8ft.

Baited Bear Hunts
Bear hunting over baits is a very successful way to harvest bears. To date we have achieved 200% success on a 2 bear quota. Archery and rifle hunters enjoy the same spectacular harvest ratio. The days are long in the spring and bear hunting only takes place in the evening. Hunters will be met at the nearest airport and a guide will accompany them to camp. There will be dinner and an orientation session upon arrival and then the bear hunt begins.

The morning is set aside for preparing the sites and reconnaissance. The guides also take care of the previous evenings game during this time and the hunters may join in or take some time for relaxation.

Spot and Stalk Bear Hunts
Spot and stalk bear hunting is definitely an exciting hunt. We hunt off of logging roads until a bear is spotted, then stalk it to within range. Baiting is not allowed in areas where grizzlies are present and so areas like these can yield some very good quality black bears because of the low hunting pressure

Enjoy this untouched bear hunter's paradise alone or bring along your hunting partner to share the experience. Each hunter is licensed to harvest two bears. If time permits, there are a variety of other activities to pursue. Wildlife observation, fishing, trap line adventures and wolf hunting are exciting additions to this black bear hunt. Sight seeing of the historic fur-trading town of Fort Vermillion is also available.
